So what on earth is Self Development?? There are so many definitions around the world. Here is just one of the more 'formal' ones:

Self-Development is taking personal responsibility for one's own learning and development through a process of assessment, reflection, and taking action.

Traditionally, Self Development covers issues like self-esteem, confidence, communication skills, motivation, etc. I look at it another way. Imagine there was a Happiness Scale that went from 1 to 10 whereby:

1 = you could not be more UNHAPPY with your life
10 = you could not be more HAPPY with your life

Most people live their lives in the range of 3-7. I believe that Self Development consists of all the tools you need to GET you to a 10 and to KEEP you there no matter what life hits you with! Many of you reading this are thinking that is impossible. How can one stay at a level of 10 when real life is full of ups and downs such as divorce, death, losing a home, being sacked and other disasters?

I have been in the Self Development field for over 30 years and will show you that it is absolutely possible to live your life at a 10 no matter what life holds for you. This is exactly what my Self Development site is all about. Also, my 'weekly newsletter' keeps you up-to-date with articles, reviews and other information in the field.
