Significance in the camp is your
Daily Ration.

For a meal or two you can buy
Some coffee, or sugar, or
Cigarettes, or clothes, or soap.

What is a meal when
You´re already hungry?
So what if you fall asleep during the day,
Because you do not have enough energy
To stay awake.
Just as long as you get your treat.

What does it matter?
For you are just a refugee,
And the fastest way to leave the camp
Is death.
