I have a B.A. in art and am a retired R.N. I am the mother of 4 adult children, three sons and a daughter; and grandmother of 3. My interests include dolls and doll making, sewing, knitting, crocheting, drawing, painting and gardening. I made my first cloth doll about 30 years ago for my daughter and now Iīm making them for my grandchildren.
Some of my most prized possessions are my porcelain dolls. One is a baby doll given to me, twenty years ago, by a fellow teacher at the middle school where I taught art. I named her Elizabeth. My other porcelain doll is a 22 inch tall Maryse Nicole fashion doll that was given to me by my daughter.
I am happy to review books, dolls and items related to doll making. Please be aware that any review I write is my honest opinion, good or bad, not a press release.
If you write to me about an article, PLEASE include the title of the article. I wonīt know which article you are referring to if you donīt.
